What are your gatherings like?

Our two weekly gatherings are divided into three main sections:  praise, preaching, and prayer.

Sunday Mornings:
Our praise time usually includes 4-6 songs, corporate prayer, and a brief meditation on an aspect of God’s character, His work, or His commands to us as His church. The corporate worship is led by one or two vocalists accompanied by keyboard, acoustic guitar, and light percussion (djembe, shaker, etc.). Lyrics to the songs are projected on the front wall and also printed in the weekly program.

The preaching time lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Pastor Ted is currently preaching a series called The Life, Ministry, and Words of Jesus Christ.

At the end of our gathering we have a time to reflect and pray about what we heard from God’s Word. This could include a quiet time of personal reflection and prayer, an open microphone for anyone to pray publicly, or a short discussion. We usually conclude by singing one last song of praise.

After the service most people stick around for awhile to catch up with one another. We’d love to get a chance to say hi!

Wednesday Evenings:
During the middle of the week we set aside a longer period of time to pray together. We spend time sharing with each other how God has been answering our prayers and what He has been teaching us through His Word. We also share any new prayer requests. Most Wednesday nights we divide into groups of 2-3 people to pray, but at times we stay in one group and whoever would like to pray may do so.

We then spend about 30 minutes hearing a message from God’s Word. Right now Pastor Ted is preaching through one chapter of Psalms each week.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes, we do provide nursery care on Sunday mornings for children under three years of age.
